Lake Hillier or Pink Lakes | Le Grand

Discover the Amazing with this 1.5 hour Scenic Flight over some of Australia's most beautiful coastline, featuring Cape Le Grand National Park and of course the surreal pink coloured Lake Hillier, on Middle Island just near the tip of Cape Arid.

Depart Esperance airport aboard your aircraft, with a window seat for every passenger, the flight will begin with a short transit to the Esperance town and Port. Flying across Esperance Bay past Frenchman Peak and over the Cape Le Grand National Park, you will be struck by the stunning beauty of the region.  Certified by Geoscience Australia, Lucky Bay boasts the whitest sand in Australia. Contrasted with the stunningly clear Turquoise waters, you can see every reef, sandbar, shark, and even whales between July and October.

Your flight will continue onward through the Recherche Archipelago to the unique Middle Island with its world renowned Pink Lake Hillier, or as lake conditions dictate, the Pink and Rainbow Lakes, a group of up to 30 pink and mulit-coloured lakes north of Esperance.

From here, you will return to Esperance via more spectacular scenery and stunning coastal vistas. You can join this flight straight from your 4x4 tour on a 12pm timeslot, or go later, or on a different day if you wish.

**Please note, the Pink Colour of Lake Hillier is a natural phenomenon, and as such cannot be guaranteed on the day of your flight depending on the natural changes in the Lake. You will always get the same flight over the magical white sands and turquoise waters that make the Esperance region so famous, and during times when Lake Hillier is discoloured, you will have the instead see the spectacular Pink and Rainbow Lakes, taking in the amazing sight of up to 30 pink Lakes nestled amongst the Esperance Farmland!!
